blankpoint Posted January 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2014 In my haste to install XPEnology, I used a 64GB USB stick that I need regularly for work. I thought I could just clone it to a smaller/cheaper USB later when I could go out and get one. So now I have a cheapo 1GB USB, and no matter what I try (copying files from one to another, cloning using Macrium Reflect, etc.) I can't get the box to boot from the smaller USB. When I switch back to the original 64GB one, everything works again. How can I switch the boot USB to another USB stick?
XPEH Posted January 19, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2014 Just put the same image used originally to 1Gb disk. Replace vender file if you have modified it. Verify that BIOS is set to boot from this USB disk, b.c. some times its resets the boot order when change drives.
