  1. I have a 4x4TB SHR volume on my 4.3 XPEnology box. This volume is used for backup. 2 of the the drives are 7200rpm drives that I want to use in my main PC now, and replace with two other 4TB NAS-rated drives. My question is: Can I take the two drives out of my XPEnology box, clone them to the two other drives, and then put them back in the XPEnology, and boot as if nothing happened? Or does DSM notice that these are different physical drives and freak out/wreck the SHR volume? Apologies for my ignorance here.
  2. In my haste to install XPEnology, I used a 64GB USB stick that I need regularly for work. I thought I could just clone it to a smaller/cheaper USB later when I could go out and get one. So now I have a cheapo 1GB USB, and no matter what I try (copying files from one to another, cloning using Macrium Reflect, etc.) I can't get the box to boot from the smaller USB. When I switch back to the original 64GB one, everything works again. How can I switch the boot USB to another USB stick?
