Le Tools Chain 4.2 existe nan ? http://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/f ... %20Chains/ Les tools chain dispo ne correspondent pas à l'architecture souhaité (x86_64 / bromolow)... @zearea51 et @jayismyson c'est possible mais plus long car c'est forcement des modules "externes" et impossible de recompiler le kernel. Il faut attendre que synology mette à dispo les sources et je refait un rebuild avec plein de bonnes choses (comme je l'ai fait avec la 4.1++ viewtopic.php?f=2&t=41&start=70#p4365 que je continu à améliorer ^^).

No because synology doesn't post the correct sources for the 4.2 branch. They announce DSM 4.3, I think in few weeks we have what we need

I totaly agree with you totalnas I found a bug in my repack about usb detection preventing usb external drive to mount in DSM and system to restart/shutdown correctly. I find the fix (some modules was not compiled correctly), and now it's working great. The usb boot stick is also detected as USB and not like hard drive. I think this will fix the grub error when install. Wait and see... PS: If someone have anything to add/fix please tell me

Oui cette carte est supportée par le driver e1000e. J'ai ajouté le lien vers le site d'intel avec la liste complète.

Le driver r8168 n'est pas intégré dans la version 4.1++. En revanche la 4.2 de oddie (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=555) l'intègre. Je vais faire une mise a jour de ma rebuild avec la dernière version du r8168 + d'autres drivers. Si la version 4.2 de odie ne fonctionne pas, ta carte réseaux Realtek RTL8111E est peux être une revision récente qui nécéssite un driver plus récent que celui intégré.

C'est le kernel original synology, avec des modules ajouté "manuellement" pour prendre en compte par exemple les cartes réseaux intel et realtek.

Les DSM 4.2 sont passés en kernel 3.2.30, donc non impossible d'utiliser celui-ce

Je viens de check dans ma rebuild (donc surement présent dans celle de andy 4.1++) il y a bien les drivers SATA_SIL et SATA_SIL24 (Silicon Image 3124/3132 support) de compilés en built-in. Dans la theorie ça devrait le faire. Et pour ton BIOS: SATA RAID/AHCI Mode : test en AHCI pour commencer puis RAID voir si ya du changement. Commence par tester avec ubuntu (AHCI / RAID dans ton BIOS) voir ce que ca donne.

Malheuresement nous attendons tous que nos mais de chez Synology nous mette à dispo les sources / tools chain pour la 4.2 => http://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/files/ C'est pour cette raison que pour le moment je me suis rabattu sur la 4.1 pour en faire une version "4.1+++" J'ai une rebuild v2 dans les tuyaux avec encore plus de controleur SATA / RAID et des drivers LAN plus à jour. Wait & see Pour le tuto celui de andy est très bien fait : http://xpenology.com/wiki/en/building_xpenology. Il faut juste un peux de connaissance en linux ^^

Etonnant car cette carte est très bien gérée et le driver (r8168) est intégré dans la version 4.1++ et 4.2. Je suppose que le système boot sur votre clé USB mais que syno assistant ne vois rien ? J'ai fait un rebuild de la 4.1++ (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=41&start=50#p4201) qui a pour but d'ajouter les drivers manquant et surtout de les mettre à jour (drivers e1000e pas asser à jour pour géré les cartes intel I217x et I218x par exemple). N'hesitez pas à demander des nouveaux drivers (lan, scsi, raid....) pour la prochaine version du repack

I willy try this with my eaton UPS. Did your UPS work with other release ? EDIT : @interested : maybe your packages issue is related to your network card which is not reconized correctly...

UPS is detected in DSM but you can't configure it ?

I test on two computer: ZOTAC AD01 (realtek network, amd neo x2 cpu, 2gb) : install ok, network ok, packages ok TYAN S8230-D (intel network 82574L & 82576EB (e1001e and igb), amd opteron 6174, 16gb : install ok, network ok, packages ok You right, after closer look I217x support began with 2.2.14 version and 2.4.14 offer I218x support. The e1000e drivers include is older than these, because this is the built-in version included in 3.2.11 kernel (release 03-13-12). I think it's work with the other release, because it' base on DSM 4.2 (3.2.30 kernel) and/or odie82544's build include the e1000e driver from intel website that is newer than mine. I will try to include the latest e1000e driver in my next rebuild/repack

You mean packages available from packages center in DSM ?

I will test the e1000e with my TYAN S8230-D quad LAN (Intel 82574L / Intel 82576EB). What's your mainboard reference ? What packages do you talk about ?

So your intel card doesn't work with my repack ?
