  1. I will have to try all this, however im starting to believe that my SAS/SATA Raid card is just not compatible. Dell Perc H310
  2. Yeah, i just tried installing pat from the cache, still getting corrupt file.
  3. Not sure if you can do anything with this or not. But I ran dmesg while in tc [ 0.285607] pci 0000:08:00.0: [1000:0073] type 00 class 0x010400 SAS [ 0.285313] pci 0000:00:1f.2: [8086:1d02] type 00 class 0x010601 SATA lspci -nnq 08:00.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 2008 [Falcon] [1000:0073] (rev 03) 00:1f.2 SATA controller [0106]: Intel Corporation C600/X79 series chipset 6-Port SATA AHCI Controller [8086:1d02] (rev 05) (on board sata) On the elusive hunt for the Satamap and DiskID
  4. Hey, what is the best way to pull the pat file from the cache folder? I've done the build, backed up everything and then placed the usb at another computer to extract it. The cache folder is not there.
  5. @pocopico Thanks, your fix worked as far as the proper tool being downloaded via dpkg. Now jq is the last tool not functioning right.
  6. Hmmm, I use Sata 68 and diskid 08 and only up to 56% before it fails. I got to 55% with the 0A0008.
  7. @pocopico By the way I also corrected the link I was getting the ext from. Either way I still get the same error if i dont commit out the dpkg
  8. I did download the updated image, but i may just completely start from fresh as I just brought over my backup. Currently still getting corrupted file install.
  9. @pocopico Also this. I just noticed when I start a build, it throws an error "jq: error (at <stdin>:1) Cannot iterate over null (null)" Not sure how much of an issue this could be. It doesn't stop the build, it's literally the first two lines(it comes up twice) of code before going to "Load Source" I get this when adding extension tc@box:~$ sudo ./rploader.sh ext broadwell-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rp-ext/master/megaraid_sas/rpext-index.json jq: error (at <stdin>:1): Cannot iterate over null (null) jq: error (at <stdin>:1): Cannot iterate over null (null) Loader source : https://github.com/jimmyGALLAND/redpill-load.git Loader Branch : develop Redpill module source : https://github.com/jimmyGALLAND/redpill-lkm.git : Redpill module branch : develop Extensions : Extensions URL : TOOLKIT_URL : https://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/files/toolkit/DSM7.0/ds.broadwell-7.0.dev.txz/download TOOLKIT_SHA : e050987fbbab0c246aff2af935b1d8a4140ce490915aa4c92f3c8d163eea970c SYNOKERNEL_URL : https://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/files/Synology NAS GPL Source/25426branch/broadwell-source/linux-3.10.x.txz/download SYNOKERNEL_SHA : d3e85eb80f16a83244fcae6016ab6783cd8ac55e3af2b4240455261396e1e1be COMPILE_METHOD : toolkit_dev TARGET_PLATFORM : broadwell TARGET_VERSION : 7.0.1 TARGET_REVISION : 42218 REDPILL_LKM_MAKE_TARGET : dev-v7 Checking Internet Access -> OK Redpill sources already downloaded, pulling latest Already up to date. 10. @pocopico When having to add an extension (when trying to build for bromolow 7) I always get an error from runtime.sh dpkg error which causes it to stop before pulling in the module. And when I run the "build" I get this error although the build doesnt stop "include/runtime.sh: line 29: system_tools: *[dpkg]="dpkg --version": must use subscript when assigning associative array" I didnt know if you was aware of this or not so I wanted to go ahead and share. Thanks in advance for the help.
  11. You don't have a pci SAS raid controller. You are using on board sata controller. It would seem there is better results with on board than pci card. Everything is being worked on, everyone is providing info to get things fix.
  12. Can you post more specs? Also could you run the following command sudo lspci -v. Thanks
  13. I just noticed when I start a build, it throughs an error "jq: error (at <stdin>:1) Cannot iterate over null (null)" Not sure how much of an issue this could be. It doesn't stop the build, it's literally the first two lines(it comes up twice) of code before going to "Load Source"
  14. From what I can see you have the right driver so I dont think its that. You seem to be having the same issue as me, except I just keep getting a fail. It could be along the lines of what @g4sho was saying as well. Possible glitch that is not showing the correct vid/pid for the usb. And @pocopico NEVER worry (at least with me) about jumping in when your bring better clarity. Dont mind correction and want to learn. Thank you so much for the willingness to help and do the work that you do so well.
  15. So this would be for vendor 0072 which is mptsas https://pci-ids.ucw.cz/read/PC/1000/0072, for me (vendor 0073) its megaraid https://pci-ids.ucw.cz/read/PC/1000/0073
  16. The only one that worked for me is the megaraid. mptsas-3 didnt work for me. Now with the pci address, would that be used to figure out diskid? As far as sata there's 8. I went ahead and tried to lspci -vvv to see if there was some additional info. where did you see the pci address? lspci -vvv
  17. When you make updates, can we just run the sudo ./rploader.sh update now or do we need redownload the image and flash it usb?
  18. @Kaneske Can you run lspci -v and post it?
  19. Did you try megaraid_sas extension? If I remember correctly from the last post you made, our cards the same which I have used megaraid_sas and it seems to work.
  20. Not sure if this is an issue, but i went back to DS31617xs and i havent searched for it yet with find or assistant, but i went to my router and it shows up as a DS115j. It did however come up as a DS3617xs when i searched for it.
  21. Never had to before so no,. It I think I realize the issue. If you do sudo reboot then nothing gets saved Sent from my HD1925 using Tapatalk
  22. Hey guys, not sure whats going on, but I know that before I was able to at least connect to xpenology although no drives would show up. Now it wont connect. When i try to reboot back into the tinycore nothing is saved and I have to start all over. I run listmods and tg3 which is the driver for my nic card and it shows up in my router, but thats it. Do I need to download the latest tinycore img? Thanks
  23. So I tried using the pat file that is saved in cache, still a no go. You maybe right it might be a error with vid/pid. I have however verified that the vid/pid is correct. Oh well, Ill go back to ds3615xs for the time being. I did noticed that u2 has been added to the img.
  24. Thanks. I think I've figured out the diskid. There 8 sata ports and the diskid is 08. I had on the embedded sata ports before and I would get sata 6 (of course there was six) and diskid was be 00. That would mean. If I had them both on the. Sata would be 68 and diskid would be 0008. I was looking at the lspci -v and the first two characters is the diskid. And then for the satamap just the number of sata ports. Also, I had to change the link that tinycore was using to download the pat file. It wasn't downloading when I did it. Either way I'll let you know if this works out.
