My System config is : Asus Z97 Deluxe Board Intel i7 Processor 16 Gb RAM 4 x 1 tb HDD will you suggest 918+ or 3617+ bcos 918+ is using bootloader 1.04b

I'm planning to create a Xpenology NAS and found differente Bootloaders ? My question is which one is best 918+, 3615+ or 3617+ ? Please guide....

Would like to know can I move my existing 3617xs NAS based on June's loader 1.02 to 1.04 DS918xs and if yes, then how ?

Hi I want to update my NAS to v. 6.2.x from existimnt 6.1 but I'm not able to find Loader for DSM-3617x. Can any one suggest me how do I update to latest DSM for 3517x.

Currently running Jun's Loader 1.02b with 6.1 for 3617XS. What is the procedure to update the same with Jun's loader 1.03b and DSM 6.2-23279

I followed the instructions given in above post and recovered the data but after that when I try to install/migrate to older version, I get error : Failed file is corrupt. I even did low formatting of all the hard disks but no resolutions. Still I'm not able to install back older versions. My System details are : MB : Asus Z97 Deulxe RAM : 32 GB HDD : 2 x 2 TB , 2 x 3 TB On board Graphics I can install anything but not Synology. Please help....

Hi When I try to access this link using my regular ISP, I'm getting message Banned.What is the reason behind this. Through third party annonymous login, am able to access but not able to download the Jun's loaders as anonymous access is not opening Mega links.

I also bricked my Disk Station today by accidentally installing Disk Station 6.2. After it bricked the system, I checked up this forum and found that v. 6.2 will brick the system. Can any one specify the step by step instruction on how to downgrade or recover the system.

Hi My Synology Disk Station got upgraded to v. 6.2-23739 and is not accessible. Later when I checked this forum then I found that it is suggested not to upgrade to v. 6.2-23739 as it will brick the system. Looks like my Synology also bricked. Is there any way back to old version to recover my Data ? A expert help is required.

Hi I recently started using Xpenology and today my Xpenology NAS is giving a warning message that My RAID is Degraded ? Can anyone help in explaining what this warning is all about and how to get rid of this ? Regards Rakesh

In Synology Cloud Station, I want to perform following taskto backup : Backup folder 1, 2, 3 from local disk to Synology Folder 1 Backup folder 4,5,6 to Synology folder 2 and so on... But Cloud station is not allowing multiple destination or destination based on selection. Can anyone please help.. If Cloud Station is not right solution for this, then guide me accordingly.

Thanks for the help. Re : Backup solution still not able to find a correct one which can backup my Local Disk data ion Synology NAS. My requirement is that whenever Backup occurs it should make a new copy of Backup with Date and Time stamp to recognize it.

Can I use my own domain to access the DiskStation with DDNS or something else needs to be done to access NAS with personal domains.

Finally I was able to do the task. 1. I used 1.02.a loader with older DSM 2. Then I upgraded to latest DSM. Now it is working fine.

Installed Plex Media Server.Configured and tried to access on TV. Though I created only one test library it is showing multiples of folders inside the library, How to get rids of all of those.
