Oh... no. Eduardo asked me my setting because he has the same my mobo Asrock QC5000-itx.
For those who have HP n54l, you guys should check with manual or HP website, take a picture of all onboard sata ports (or whatever) to see (or guess) how many controllers it has. Then test with hard drives that have SNs written down. That's your job, men. I don't have it.
Well done! I'm out home till next week. I'll try when back.
Regarding HP N54L, I guess two controllers. One for internal bays and the other for 0dd and eSATA. I plugged a LSI 9211-8i on mine (N54L) that is controlling internal bays. For backups, I installed a hot plug tool free bay on the odd place, and is controlled by N54L mobo second controller and acts as eSATA. So, for my above configuration, on DSM 5.2 I have:
esataportcfg="0x0030"
usbportcfg="0x3f80"
internalportcfg="0x004f"
maxdisks="12"
0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0011 0000 = esataportcfg
0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0011 1111 1000 0000 = usbportcfg
0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 1111 = internalportcfg
Mind that all the 8 sata ports of the LSi are seen as one, due to the way disks are numbered.

Hey guys,
For those who are asking about the setting for "SataPortMap="
I many times have asked about how to set the value for SataPortMap, but I received no responses and I understand it's hard to tell.
After a couple days with several experiments, here is the experience I want to share.
I built my new DSM 6.0 Nas on the mobo Asrock QC5000-itx that has 4 onboard sata ports. I also attached anothe Syba sata card that has 4 ports. So, totally I will have 8 sata ports to have 8 HDDs connected. And as a normal thinking, I would set SataPortMap=44, right? Wrong! My first experience is before you ask please watch, watch, and watch. When I check 4 sata ports on the mobo, I found it says SATA3_A0, SATA3_A1, SATA3_1, and SATA3_A2 see the picture (instead of SATA1, 2, 3, and 4 as usual) that drew my attention with a question why? Searched around I quickly found out 2 ports are controlled by AMD onboard chipset and the other two are controlled by ASMedia ASM1061.
Watch, watch and watch or simply read the f***** manual ftp://europe.asrock.com/Manual/QC5000-ITXPH.pdf. Pages 3,6,7, 42.
Please, report your conclusion. I have this mobo too. Not running XPEnology though.

You can try some of them.
This is the one I use for my documents, the best for me. http://www.seeddms.org/index.php?id=2

gracias
¡Ah! Ahora te entiendo. No he probado nunca esa opción.

Gracias
"kernel /zImage ihd_num=0 netif_num=1 mac1=XXX sn=XXX vid=0x0EA0 pid=0x2168 loglevel=0 vga=0x305 "

But WOL shouldn't work this way. Real mac needs to match. On my N54L it is how it works.

Just wanted to say that this case is super sexy and a great build for XPENOLOGY.

Hi mate,
I just bought ASRock QC5000-ITX/PH, RAM and LSI. They're still on packages. Now looking for case and PSU (No U-NAS supplier in Spain).
Please, let me one question. Did you manage to flash MAC to the QC5000? You know, for Syno valid MAC and WOL working.

Caja:FD-CA-NODE-304-BL - -- - 69€

Please, don't forget USB to serial FTDI and Prolific chips:
ftdi_sio.ko
pl2303.ko
usbserial.ko
Thanks a lot for your good work.
All of these modules are already present but not loaded at boot. You have just to insmod it.
What kind of hardware did you use with serial port ?
Yes, I run a script to insmod drivers and get some other conditions from some years ago. Before Xpenology included drivers I had to compile them every time kernel was changed. Now, I don't waste time thanks to you...
Hardware: Marmitek CM11 (legacy X10 transceiver)
Home automation personal system: heyu ipkg + http://domus.link.co.pt/

Asus RT-AC56U here, tomato firmware. OpenVPN (two servers) running flawlessly. Linksys E3000 tomato firmware too before.
OpenVPN settings quite easy on Tomato firm. OpenVPN even redirects my web traffic to internet when I use wifi outside home.

¿A qué BIOS rusa te refieres?
La que yo tengo funciona muy bien. Pero creo que es alemana. http://www.xpenology.nl/hp-n40ln54l-bios-modificatie-2013-10-01/

Updated to XPEnoboot_5.1-5022.1 from 5.0 N54L bare metal. Installed update 2. Volume was unmounted for the first time after the restart, as said. Just rebooted and fixed automatically. Working flawlessly.
Kudos to XPEnoboot team!
