Yes, if you install a New DSM Version the ACPI script will be overwritten. But for me the script dont work any longer with the New 5644 bootloader and DSM Version.

This doesn't seem to work for me either. DSM shuts down, but the server didn't go off. I have to hold the power-button for a few seconds to turn it off. Are you also running the newest XPEnology 5.2-5644? No, I'm currently using the previous version (5.2-5592). Okay, thank you. With 5.2-5592 it worked for me, too. With the New 5644 it works no longer.

I just updated my XPEnology 5.2-5644 via web interface to DSM 5.2-5644 Update 1. Server rebooted and everythings working fine by now. Seems to work. I'm running XPEnology on a HP Proliant MS Gen8, baremetal installation. For me, everythings working except the iScsi LUN thing.

It seems that this no longer works with the newest DSM release 5644. Any ideas? (DSM shuts down, but the Server is still running) running a gen8 baremetal
