Fenix46 Posted October 10, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2023 Hi guys I'm a really newbie here and with XPEnology, but I will understand how to install it direct con my machine to work with it like a nas. my pc is: MB: Asus A320 CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 RAM: 16GB HDD: 2x 500GB, 2x1TB, 1x4TB For system I think was good a micro sd card like truenas.. (this machine before was truenas) I'll try to boot with DSM 918x, but I don't find out in finds.sinology.com... Any advice to found a way for install it? Have a look at this thread for loaders and platforms: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/61634-dsm-7x-loaders-and-platforms/ I would suggest you read through the TCRP to learn: https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/62221-tutorial-installmigrate-to-dsm-7x-with-tinycore-redpill-tcrp-loader/ But the easiest way to install Xpenology is with the new ARPL found here: https://github.com/wjz304/arpl-i18n I would also suggest you try to build the DS923+, DS1612+ or DS3622xs+ for your hardware. Old manuals are causing confusion to users because this forum's posting policy states that once a post is written, it cannot be edited or deleted.
