Dsm update from 7.1 update 1 - some questions

Hi! I'm a little confused about the update, at the moment I'm running the TCRP loader without friend, how could I update to a more recent version of DSM without installing the loader, I understood that there is a set of commands that need to be executed after loading the DSM file in the interface GUI, what are these commands? Thank you,

These commands have worked for me on updates:

After installing the update via gui....  boot into TCRP and...

./rploader.sh update now

./rploader.sh fullupgrade now

./rploader.sh backup

./rploader.sh postupdate (your platform)

the current platform is bromolow ds3615xs, now I notice that it only has support up to DSM 7.1.1 U5 (DS3615xsp: 7.0.1 -> 7.1.0 -> 7.1.1 U5 (7.1.1 Will be the last version supported)), is it recommended to switch to another platform? In this case, the procedure is the same except that I enter the name of another platform or do I have to create another USB loader?

If you are thinking of migrating from DS3615xs to another platform, the most recommended model is DS3622xs+.
It is a stable model in all respects.

Please build the loader for 7.2 first and then proceed with the DSM migration.

Ok, i see now, but what loader should I use, to avoid post upgrade work?

Any loader will do as long as you use the latest loader currently available.
ARPL-i18n
TCRP friend
TCRP M-Shell

Everything is working great with 7.2 last release, but something is weird, i have this loader TCRP friend last release, when I boot into tcrp friend it says kernel panic, is something that I have done wrong, maybe I need to use a USB 3.0 or something like that?

Yes, it's a bare metal, with this configuration:

Motherboard HP Joshua h61

cpu intel i5 3450 3.1 ghz
ram 8 gb ddr3
1 ssd 250 gb
2 hdd 1 tb

Are you still only trying the DS3615xs?
Because it is the 3rd generation of Intel, DS918+/DS920+/DVA3221 cannot be used.
Try migrating by switching the model to DS3622xs+.
Intel 3rd generation is the most stable model to recommend.

If the suspected kernel panic persists, press the g key on the FRIEND kernel boot screen to capture the log displayed in the getty console.
Let me analyze it.
