I have installate a DS918+DSM - 7.1-42661 Update 1. i used redpill I have only 2 problems: 1. how can update to newer version of dms? like dsm 7.1.1-42962 or other versions. 2. how can use virtual machine? i installed VMM, i created a VMM with ubunto iso but it didn't start system: i3 - 16gb ram - 1 sdd cache - 2x4tb disk - 1 750gb disk (for test in a new pool)- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For the easiest build with TCRP FRIEND and update to dsm 7.1.1-42962 Update 2 without problems, try using m shell. You can download and install it with the following command in TCRP Linux as shown below. curl -L "https://github.com/PeterSuh-Q3/tinycore-redpill/raw/main/my.sh.gz" -O;tar -zxvf my.sh.gz; And, DS918+'s TCRP FRIEND loader is built as below. ./my.sh DS918+F If you are already using TCRP and need to keep user_config.json Please command as below. ./my.sh DS918+F noconfig 2.
