quiri99 Posted July 24, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) Yes the drive is visible in the bios, but the bios have very few option, and there isn’t the option to set ahci or ide, it is a old hp pre assembled Edited July 24, 2022 by quiri99

If you want to keep your MB, try to buy SATA PCI card. It's not expensive. Maybe other people will suggest something, I built xpenology twice, not an expert at all. I recommend using broadwell (3617) or apollolake (918) or bromolow (3615) where libata could compile. pocopico Posted July 26, 2022 Share #11 Posted July 26, 2022 Can you give ARPL a try before you buy a AHCI card, i see Fabio has sata_nv included. https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl/releases/tag/v0.3-alpha5

I saw it could be because it is an amd platform so I tried to use ds1621 (the ds920 is not compatible) but the forcedeth driver is not there for this. can you upload it @pocopico?
