apriliars3 Posted November 28, 2022 Share #26 Posted November 28, 2022 Thanks for answering mate, much appreciated. but, very complicated for my little knowledge, is there a video tutorial?I don’t think was necessary videotutorial like a Youtuber for any issue that you need. I can see that only is running two o or three commands and understand that you do. You won’t never learn nothing if you don’t try for yourself. Danilo Posted December 9, 2022 Share #30 Posted December 9, 2022 I think this solution is not good for you that you have an VM. On VM you have to see in the machine settings

But with what software are the commands executed? With CMD in windows? This is the same, I understand you need boot with pendrive and run, then you can use DSM with faster boot than before. XPEnology | ASRock J3455 utiliza DSM918+ para iniciar una solución lenta – DivineEngine | Sitio First, you need download the files and make a pendrive with Windows, macOS, linux, etc. and then you can boot and run the commands. I have asked an other friend that use this method with your J4205-ITX(1.80)ROM. I hope answer me and I can help you with the correct steps. dh22r Posted January 22, 2023 Share #35 Posted January 22, 2023 sorry if this is dumb question, does this scenario and the "amisetupwriter" update apply to just the AMI bios with an onboard CPU? the fix works on my asrock j3455-itx (realtek RTL8111GR NIC). i also have an asrock z390 phantom gaming-itx/ac (with 8700K) running on arpl-1.0-beta10a. the onboard NIC is intel i219v. this build sometimes take 2-4 minutes to recognize the NIC on board or sometime not at all. usually works again after a few reboot. i couldn't find the tool, that i can run, to display the "One Of: OS Selection, VarStoreInfo ..." option on the z390 board to see whether i can do the AMI tweak. any help appreciated. But with what software are the commands executed? With CMD in windows? amisetupwriter is an EFI Shell executable. To get into the EFI Shell Format a USB Disk to FAT32 Copy over the EFI folder and amisetupwriter.efi file to the USB Disconnect all your SATA / other disks, as it will make it easier to mount the USB. Ideally the USB should be the only disk on the system Reboot from USB It will boot into a weird text interface, with the prompt as "Shell>" Here type in the command "map -r" This will mount all the disks The USB should be fs0. Select it by typing in "fs0:" The prompt will change to "fs0:\>" Now if you run the "dir" command it should display the contents of the USB Finally you can run the "amisetupwriter"
