XoN Posted January 23, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 23, 2013 Hi, What version of Synoboot are you using? Andy just uploaded a new version with more HW supported: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=41 If you have used the newest version, I would check it with the "old" one: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=

hy9a00 Posted January 23, 2013 Share #4 Posted January 23, 2013 hello, I want to install on Asrock AD2700-ITX (it's on the hardware supported list) but I can't load the kernel (error This Kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, But only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot - Please use a kernel approprate for your CPU.) I've installed DSM4.1 2668 on my AD2700-ITX without any problem. I use a 2G usb stick as boot media. You may try the following steps: 1. restore to factory default. 2. set storage configuration to AHCI 3. Turn off all unnecessary items, such as parallel port, serial port etc. I hope it helps. Do not use 4G or above as boot, I encountered some errors and I dont know why.

hy9a00 Posted February 5, 2013 Share #6 Posted February 5, 2013 my Asrock AD2700-ITX can install and boot. However the DSM cannot see any network interface and hence some functions reported error, such as Resources Monitor, FileStation and control Center. The LAN is Realtek RTL8111E onboard. Any help?
