Hello. There are 2 servers with Synology Photos. Tell me - is it possible to synchronize faces, video and photo previews (between servers) There are identical files on two servers - and I would not want to load the systems 2 times to process photos and videos that are 100% the same on both servers. Maybe you can transfer certain folders to another NAS and there will immediately be all the faces, previews, etc.?

HI sorry another noob question When my drives crashed I managed to back up some data from my NAS to an external USB by mapping the NAS drives to my win pc and copying over etc I want to reverse the proces, so I have a virgin NS drive, have mapped the folders onto the pc Is the simplest way to just copy and paste on the PC from the external USB to the mapped drives? I normally use SYnctoy when eveything is all set up to keep things..ummm...sync'd It is a fair chunk of data with home movies and the family photo archive (around 2TB) so I want to set it up overnight and leave it to ie Thanks for the advice

Hi to everyone. I'm trying to remote sync two folders of two Xpenology NAS (both last 6.1.4 DSM). I understand that I have to install Cloud Station Server on the first Nas and Cloud Station ShareSync on the other Nas; on both nas I enabled the Rsync service (on port 22) and authorized the rsync service on a user (pippo). Pippo is an admin user and he has got r/w permitions on all folders. On "server Nas" I selected which folders to share On both Nas I forwarded these ports: 22 and 873 for external access. The problem is that when open Cloud Station ShareSync and I try to make a connection to the "server NAS", using Public IP of "server Nas" user: pippo password: pippo's password This error is shown: ERROR on connection. Check your Lan settings and retry I don't understand where is the problem... Do I have to forward others port? Anyone can help me? Thank you for your support!
