Performance will be the same. Your cores are being used now even though the system info is hard coded.

Might see if they will warranty it. Intel recalled those processors because of that.Of course it must be Xpen friendly.
My C27504DI died, it appears.

Can it be any real box or must it be a 3615?
Yes, DSM 5.x does not have this issue. I have a valid mac and serial and for me it works fine on DSM 6.0 as well.
Just buy a real box and use it's serial and use that as a "license" to use XPenology.

Linux live os work?

I have the files. If someone wants to suggest a share method, I can do that.

I would be willing to pay $200 for a perpetual license. $100 for upgrades if you already had a license.

It sucks but I can confirm once you find a valid serial, the issue is resolved.
I am not sure if any of the generators actually work anymore.
Maybe try using Plex? I use that for videos and such. I only use DS Photo for syno apps.

This did not work for me but it may work for you.

I tried the other serial generator and still have the same issue. I am not sure how to solve, I am still working on it slowly.
For me this only impacts ds photo videos so it's not killing me. I am going to solve it though.

I have the same issue. It's a serial/Mac issue that I have not been able to solve yet.

This still failed for DS photo. Do you really need just a serial or do you need a mac too?

I used this for the SN. I need some time to confirm it worked though.

24 thread work or still just 8?

I am running an E5 2630Lv3 raid 6 with 5 3tb drives.
My setup fully saturates the 1gb link.

Do 1.02a2 for the 3617. Use the image burner and update the same stuff detailed in the 6.0.2 guide.
Use the 3617 serial generator for the serial.

8 total cores logical or virtual. Physical processors do not matter.

well it does look like you have hung hopes on 2 devs. jun and trantor for drivers.
You could always read up and help the effort......

Luckily I still have the logs ....
update.synology.com
checkip.synology.com
autoupdate.synology.com
Thank you.

Just to add to the general paranoia :
While I was testing a DNS server on my network (and looking at the logs), I found that my box - which has quickconnect off - contacted account.synology.com and another url (I forget) which retrieved my external IP.
So they probably have a better idea of how many people are running XPEnology than anyone here
Can you check on the other domain to block as well?

Why not just either pay for or use a DDNS service? I do this and have no issues.

i'm going to have similar dilemma when I switch to baremetal on my Supermicro X10SDV board. It has 8 core, 16 threads.
Disable hyper threading.

I use docker. It seems fine.
Is this for all versions?

I use Juns 1.01 loader for DSM 6. Driver support is low, but if all your stuff works its super stable.
