The fact that you can configure a RAID 5, means your LSI Card is set to IR Mode, you need to change it to IT Mode.

Hello, i would like to know, besides the limitation on the platform choice. Is there a limit of how many hdd s can be put in a controller. I am thinking to use LSI 9400-16i but i read in the ARC Loader wiki that in a controller there can only be 8 drives. Have anyone tried to put more than 8 drives in a HBA controller Thank You

Hi All, This might be basic question, but i couldn't find answer anywhere, maybe looked in the wrong section. I would like to know or if anyone ever tried, changing the loader, but with the same hdd, will it work or will it count as a migration. Just ideas, maybe choose the same platform, MAC, Serial. ANyone has any experience? Thank You
