I never used the ARPL loader but I just tried it now on a new VM for DS3622+ and it does not work. I click the Shutdown button on Proxmox, but nothing happens. According to the ARPL loader, ACPI is installed.

Any luck on getting the 3622+ ACPI to work on the newer versions? (specifically with Proxmox?)
