@thomas: yes. tried all 3 possibilities (2x USB 3 and 1x USB 2). Also tried OVMF and Seabios as machines. Q35 and 1440fx. All failing when installing .pat as 55/56%. Also encountering the migration option, where I also selected both options (yes/no resetting).

Hi, also quite interested how to solve the no synoboot device. Used the following loader img: redpill-DS918+_7.0.1-42214_b1630747150.img for a VM on Unraid. Not sure though if the loader is for a VM or baremetal. But fails (therefore) at 55%.
