    I try 1020 on promox, is working and no need hard dance with drivers. My W10 cant see linux partitions, I dont know why. Its not a problem. Maybe you add this to top of this topic (and 1020 flashing bios too)?

    Before this I recommend update BIOS on 1020, this need to remove compatible restrictions on SFP+ and DAC, after update you can use any manufactured modules and cables (I cant test this, my cables is on delivery from China).

     

    latest Bios 3.2.7.0 from http://driverdownloads.qlogic.com/QLogicDriverDownloads_UI/SearchByProduct.aspx?ProductCategory=322&Product=1214&Os=194 I use live CD

    You need: 

    make live CD

    boot from CD

    Its OK working!!!, Many thanks for all.

    1. Windows user need EXT2FSD, install.

    2. Booting USB from xpenology insert PC with EXT2FSD

    3. Assign drive letter to partition.

    4. Find extra.lzma

    5. download latest 4.9 extra.lzma from http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=88305548032449150873 

    6. replace original extra.lzma

    7. remove USB, insert in bare metal and power on.

     

    ITS real working.

    i got confirmation that it worked with 4.7 so thats the min. version you will have to try

     

    there driver is bna.ko (Brocade 10G PCIe Ethernet driver", also the firmware is present (ct2fw-3.1.0.0.bin, ctfw-3.1.0.0.bin)

    i cant see anything in the log part you posted, search the whole log for bna or brocade (if you are using the latest extra.lzma for loader 1.02b)

     

     

     

    Where I can see extra.lzma version? And where I can find this file? Sorry Im new in linux but I fast learn. In boot img its no extra lzma, but in working installed image i see

    I try 4 disk setup. Its work but unstable. ISCSI work, but under big load freezes. 6.17  3617 its fine.

    У меня получается такДСМ 6.1.6 и SnapshotReplication-x86_64-6.1.2-0173, работают нормально.

    вариант дсм 6.1.7 и ДСМ 6.1.6 не работает, какие бы пакеты не стояли (ReplicationService-x86_64-1.0.9-0040 или SnapshotReplication-x86_64-6.1.2-0173). По крайней мере у меня.

    Я вернулся на 6.1.6 и SnapshotReplication-x86_64-6.1.2-0173.

    У кого по другому?

    - результат обновления: УСПЕШНЫЙ

     

    - модель DSM: DS3617xs
    - версия DSM до обновления: DSM 6.1.6-15266 Update 1
    - версия и модель загрузчика: Jun's Loader v1.02b

    - тип установки DSM: Bare Metal i7 
    - дополнительные комментарии: потребовалась перезагрузка

     

    Все в порядке НО, 6.1.7 все, капец, теперь отправка данных в синолоджи видимо.....

    Кому интересно, старое AMD железо. И вопрос по дешевым FC или 10Gb

    И так, насчет сетевух 10Гб пока не запускал, но для кого интересно самая дешевая для heartbit Dlink 560 -600р, поддерживает джамбо 9к, для того чтобы все заработало, надо отключить внутренню сетевуху, у меня она только джамбо 7к и не подходит,  вставить 560ку, поставить систему, воткнуть вторую PCI сетевуху на 1гб и тогда все работает.

     

    по 10Гб придут к маю отпишусь, но в целом если нагрузки большой нет, то и смысла в 10Гб нет, при НА системе из 2 ящиков, больше не надо. Максимальная скорость по сети 120мб/с, больше не получилось, атлон х2 780 чипсет 2 гига оперативы... и сата 2 старая 250ка.
