  1. I have a direct connected usb keyboard and the vga output hooked up to a monitor. If the issue is the NIC, then SSH wouldn't work. Does your IPMI still work? A solution that works for some people is to enable network bonding and set it to eth1. Sadly, that solution didn't work for me.
  2. Do you have access to DSM console still or does that hang too? If so, login as root and check DMESG for any errors. I have an issue with the NIC hanging on my Asrock c2750d4i. I usually run the following command to see it: dmesg -T | tail -100 | more
  3. Thanks for figuring out a work around. I changed the SATA Mode Selection to IDE on my c2750d4i and was able to boot into 5.1. Unfortunately, i have 4 of my drives on the sata2 ports with custom length SATA cables so switching those to the sata3 ports will be a big PITA. The other option on the mode selection is AHCI so it might be some issue with the intel AHCI drivers but I'm not sure how to resolve that. I guess I'll have to back to DSM 5.0 until someone has another workaround or I get some new thin SATA cables.
  4. I have hibernation enabled but I don't have anything like Kill-A-Watt to check the power consumption.
  5. I have a c2750d4i and ran into some stability issues with the nic refusing packages. If anyone has issues, disabling speedstep and c-state in the bios solved the issues for me. I'm currently at 3 weeks uptime.
  6. Nanoboot 5.0.2.2 works great with my c2750d4i and Intel l210 NICs. Thanks Sancome! Your work is greatly appreciated.
  7. Right,my mistake. marvel was for the sata controller. I guess i'll have to wait for the driver for the Intel I210 to get added.
  8. Ah, driver issue. i suspected that. As for the your guide, the same line listed -i eth0 and -i eth1 in the screenshot so I wasn't sure why I was getting the same thing. You do great work. I followed you guide before to get 4458 up. Fantastic stuff! Thank you to F5BJR for the PM with the 4482 repack.
  9. I'm running into an issue where it looks Nanoboot is not pulling IPs for the NICs. For hardware, i'm using the c2750d4i with marvel NICS coming from DSM5 with gnoboot 10.5a. I get the error below on boot: Running /usr/syno/etc/rc.d/J)3ssdps.sh... /usr/syno/sbin/minissdpd Usage: /usr/syno/sbin/minissdpd [-d] [-6] [-s socket] -[p pidfile] -i [-i ] ... < interface> is eitehr an IPv4 address such as 192.168.1.42, or an interface name such as eth0. By defaulth, socket will be open as /var/run/minissdpd.sock and pid written to file /var/run/minissdpd.pid start SSDPD failed. From the guide off cyanlabs, the execution line should be: /usr/syno/sbin/minissdpd -i eth0 -i eth1 Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
