Just block the activation element using your favorite adblocker. At least that works for me in the G Suite edition of Active Backup.

Or simply use your favorite adblocker to hide the layers blocking you from interacting with the app/page. Works great for me in Active Backup for G Suite, I'm guessing it will for the other versions as well.
