So i make a new usb stick / upgrading my usb boot stick booting from this , then i start the synology tool on my pc and the migrate , right ?

any news about upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2 ? i was trying it directly over the setup menu from the dsm with manully file selct but after a while i got error 21 message

so da es mit den S3 ja noch keine lösung gibt habe ich mir jetzt über die Paket manger verwaltung den advanced power manger installiert somit schaltet sich der server wenigstens abends alleine aus und frühs wieder an .Funzt super

Maybe hacked BIOS for his board ? the CPU is supporting 64 BIT OS but all knowing mainboards with d2700 cpu got BIOS with no support for emt64 , maybe write him how he got it running working

Have you check the asrock website ?

 

Due to lack of Intel® 64-bit VGA driver support, this motherboard does not support 64-bit OS

 

But thats a problem off al D700 ATOM Board´s they don´t have support for 64 bit OS

Wäre auf jedenfall sehr wünschenswert habe mal ein kleines atom system zusammengebaut udn der stromverbrauch liegt bei 30 watt da wäre der s3 modus natürlich sehr sinnvoll über die nacht hinweg

I was testing the Intel D525W with D525 Atom CPU MAinboard : LAN ok , Sata Ok , USB didn´t Work (was testing with usb flash drive Synology did´t show thats connect , Shutdown /Reset didn´t work

Hallo erstmal allen , mal schauen was sich hier in nächster zeit so tun wird .

I was testing it on a Dell Poweredge 850 Server with extra Bulid in Intel 1000 Pro NIc , now the synlogy assist. find the Server but no way to get the software installing , every time error . I think the Sata Ports didn´t work. On A HP Compaq 8510p laptop all works fine to 99% , only the shut down / reset didn´t work.
