Связался с гуру этого форума IG-88, получил очень много информации. Отвечаю на свои вопросы выше: контроллер Marvell 88SE9215 + JMicron JMB5xx с множителем. Marvel 9215 + Marvell 9705 с множителем т.е. максимально DSM будет видеть 4 порта SATA. Да и вообще обширный поиск всех площадок показал - Не существует контроллеров на 8 SATA под pci-e 1x без множителя. Для моих домашних нужд этого будет достаточно. Плюс в том, что если когда-нибудь я перейду на pci-e 3.0, то у меня будет прирост производительности. Вариант от IG-88 мне тоже понравился. Он предложил использовать схему без лишнего контроллера в цепочке, а только гибкий шлейф с pci-e x1 на pci-e x16. Hi Jogar, You probably read it in this post attached below. I have the same hardware but I cannot manage to install 6.2.x. 6.1.7 works flawless. I have only tried to install DSM from scratch on a spare HDD. I will follow your thread to see if you have any more success. Cheers!

Hola Jogar, Yo tengo un HP G7 N54L con un AMD Turion II con unos siete años... También estuve con el Xpenoboot y un DSM 5.2 durante todos estos años... Y ahora durante el confinamiento también me dediqué a actualizarlo.... Yo lo migré sin problema de 5.2 a 6.1.7 para 3615 usando el bootloader de Jun 1.02b y siguiendo más o menos la guia de Polanskiman de aqui del foro..... Respecto a Xpenoboot, pues hay que modificar el grub.cfg de la primera partición de la img del bootoader 1.02b, sustituyendo los valores que vienen por defecto en la imagen de Jun por nuestro VID/PID del usb donde esta gravada la imagen del loador, serial, Mac Address, sataportmap, etc... Esta todo explicado en el tutoría de Polanskiman como editarlo y tal... Quizás lo que tengas que hacer es borrar los rastros que queden de xpenoboot porque si no creo que no va bien el reiniciar el servidor o el WOL... Posteriormente, compre una tarjeta de red pci intel para actualizar a 6.2.2 con el boot 1.03b modificandolo con un extra en la segunda partición de la imagen, pero ahora estoy con el boot 1.03b original de Jun i el dsm 6.2.3... El G7 está aguantando como un campeón, siempre que no le pidan transcodificar video... Suerte

1 - What motherboard/PC/CPU can I use? Most Intel based motherboards/PC's will work with the current boot loader for DSM 6.1.x and DSM 6.2 but many community members are running AMD with DSM 6.1.x. If your motherboards BIOS has a C1E function (mostly HP machines) make sure to disable that before upgrading to DSM 6.1.x Intel/AMD boards are supported with XPE/DSM 6.0.2.
