USB support HPN54L

Hi guys,

I'm an happy user of Xpenology on my HP N54L since many years. After some trials I manage to update it from

DS3615xs DSM 6.1.7 15284 UPD2 Jun's loader with 3x4Tb RAID5

to

DS3622xs+ DSM 7.2 64570 UPD1 Redpill v0.10 with 3x6Tb RAID5 and w/o any additional driver extensions

w/o loosing any data

 

Now I'm trying to make everythin work properly.

In particular I'm not able to make external USB ports working.

I was using them for:

- UPS support (APC)

- serial/RS485 adapter (CH340G)

- auto-backup of USB stick

 

I tried to follow Robertklep instructions on GitHub w/o success (looking only at serial adapter, then I realized that nothing was working).

 

I'm not skilled in SSH/script and so on. Till now I tried to follow existing tutorials.

 

Any idea? Or test to pursue?

Try to make use of a USB 2 Hub and connect your USB devices. This was my answer for connecting my 3D printer via USB to my HP N54L
