Error: "symbol 'grub_disk_native_sectors' not found" during reboot

Dear All,

 

I had followed step 1-8 and when reboot I got the error: "symbol 'grub_disk_native_sectors' not found".

I tried 3 different thumbdrives, same error. I tried different architectures DS918+, DS3622xs+, DS920+, DVA3221 also same error.

I am using on Asrock H270M Pro4 motherboard and Intel i5-6600 cpu.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the correct image? Is your BIOS set correctly? UEFI or legacy boot?

Try using TCRP v0.8.0.5 since it is the stable version

dear rojoone2, i am sure using the correct image and is on UEFI boot. i followed your recommendation and went into bios to do set default to UEFI and works after that flawlessly. you are a life saver. thank you so much.

mother board Asus Z9PAD8 not support UEFI boot.

how can i do?
