Hardware for new DSM baremetal or proxmox?

Hello to all,

I would like to buy new hardware and need advice on choosing the moterboard and cpu.
First of all I would like to install everything in a compact case type
Fractal Design Node 804 with up to 6 disks 2 ssd. so the DS1621 + version is sufficient or am I wrong?
In this case I can install micro atx motherboards.
What motherboard and cpu do you recommend?
How much ram?
Also I already have in my possession a pci-e card with 4 1Gb intel Lan cards so I have to create a lacp aggregation of 5 cards.
My idea is to install XPEnology on Proxmox por it is better baremetal?

 

I will use my nas dsm to backup my data, photos and more, make backups in the cloud.
I currently have a pc ocn proxmox on which there are 4 vm.
so in case of Baremetal installation I should virtualize everything on DSM.
