bananoos Posted April 6, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2020 Hello, i try to install DSM 6.2.2 (full reinstall) but i have an error during installation. i create my USB key with Jun 3615XS my GRUB config is set vid=0x26bd set pid=0x9917 set sn=1330LWN022148 set mac1=0011322CA785 DSM_DS3615xs_24922.pat installation seem work, but an error occure at 5 step. i use this PC for my last NAS XPEnology with DSM 6.1.3, it worked well. during this lockdown, I miss my nas media center... could you trying to help me. best regards Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bearcat Posted April 16, 2020 Share #5 Posted April 16, 2020 OK, if 6.1.7 works, you may stay with it for now I guess The few times i have seen that type of error, it has either been due to wrong vid/pid or existing filesystem (NTFS or others) on the disk's beeing used (as I remember). (Your drives are in AHCI mode, else they would not be found I guess) If the VID/PID is correct, and the drives has allready been in use with DSM, and DSM 6.1.x works, it sounds like either the .PAT file used (download again and do a checksum test) or a driver is causing the problem?
