Encryption Key Manager, system partition on a hdd or usb ?

Hello,

I have started to encrypt my shares / folders and would like to store the keys in the encryption key manager it states you can save them to the system partition.

Is this system partition on the first hard drive or the boot usb ?

System partition means the partition where DSM is stored. Depending how many drives you have it will be stored on every drive's system partition because DSM copies itself on every drive for safety reasons.
