I 'm using my NAS PC for quite some time (over three years) and it is the first time that DSM doesn't update.

Everytime a new update is released, I wait to see if it's safe to do it and only when I see it 's OK, I'm doing it.

This time the update procedure is failing and the below error message is displayed.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Or should I pass this update?

 

Please advise.

After some trial and error, I fixed it.

 

Solution: A reboot was required prior to the update procedure and then everything went smoothly.
