Hello I'm Nico, French Guy.
I have a DS415play and very happy with.
I was looking for a new DSxxx+ series, but the price was too high, so I decided to build a low cost pc with 2nd hand parts and install Xpenology on it.
The pc is now finished, power consumption optimization is done, stability test as well & Proxmox is installed.
I'm now looking how to install Xpenology.
My Idea at the end is to run 1 instance of Xpenology for plex, photo, transmission, synchro,..., 1 instance for a mail server and maybe 1 instance for TOR relay.
and be able to test the DSM upgrade safely.
I still have one open point on HDD, between passthrough, raid in proxmox or raid 1 from the motherboard controler or a mix of that.
