I had to repair the drive once i plugged it back in but yeah. Just saw a log entry on one of my drives so looks like it only records new entries

I migrated from Xpenology to real synology recently to try and I didn't have logs either. Though I'm not sure if it's because my drives haven't had issues recently. Xpenology log worked when I tried unplugging/replugging a drive in.

Sorry new to Xpenology but trying to mess with DS2422+ but Storage Manager isn't detecting my NVME drives for cache? I've tried modifying /etc.defaults/extensionPorts with the two nvme locations so wasn't sure if I'm missing something. thanks! Running in an unRAID VM with my SATA and NVME controllers passed through Currently on DS920+ and everything was detected automatically there

I also noticed the same thing when using ARPL but I'm wondering if it cleared out when I changed real synology DS1817+ to xpenology ds918+ then DS920+. I just tried unplugging a drive and it showed in the logs. I'll keep an eye out to see if the logs populate or not
