Hi All, I have been using XPEnology on my HP GEN 10 with 3 disks in Raid for a couple of years. the DSM is 7.XX (I don't remember the exact version) installed on a USB flash. Lately, I have not been able to connect to my NAS anymore. When I check the network on the router I do not see the IP address of the NAS (a ping also falls in timeout). But When I remove the hard disks it connects to the network correctly and finds my synology find it. but it says it needs to have disks connected. I don't know where to start. I thought about installing DSM in a new USB and trying to see i it works correctly but I am afraid to wipe all data in the hard disks. I can access USB flash when I connect it to a PC. when I plug a screen in it it tells the starting process and then that it will stop updating (as usual). I don't know where to look to find the DSM version 😢 Any help is welcome!

Hi all, I have been using DSM 6 on a HP proliant Gen 10 for a while with meduim performance Sorry for the noob question i looked for the forum but i was not able to find the answer : Is the read/write spped of the usb flash disk used to unstall is important for the system performance in a bare metal installation?
