  1. Good morning everyone. I'm trying to install DSM 7.x on my HP Z820 workstation. I used Automated Redpill Loader to load the loader onto the USB stick. During configuration I chose the DS3615xs model and build 42962. The loader starts correctly but does not detect the two SATA disks present (Seagate Ironwolf). I configured SATA mode in AHCI from the BIOS and then in IDE but in neither configuration the disks are detected. Am I doing something wrong? Can I change model and/or build? Thank you all
  2. Goodmorning everyone I have a Lenovo M73 SFF with Intel Pentium G3220T processor. I would like to install Xpenology 6.x. during first installation, in the step where I have to load the correct DSM, when I install the correct DSM for that loader from the Synology site it always crashes at 55% and appears: "The file is probably corrupted (13)" I tried Jun's Loaders DSM 6.2, Quicknick's Loaders DSM 6.1.x, Jun's Loaders DSM 6.0.2 and the related compatible DSMs but the same error always appears. The only working installation is Xpenoboot DSM 5.2 with DSM 5.2 5644, unfortunately it is too old a version and many add-ons are no longer compatible. the loaders I take from here: https://xpenology.club/downloads/ What can cause this error? I know that Jun's Loader v1.04b DS918 + version is incompatible with my chipset because it is too old, but the other loaders should be compatible. I read that it could be a VID and PID problem but I honestly don't understand what they are. Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me
  3. Hello. Thanks for this very interesting guide. I'm stuck in the passage: "don't forget to place the grub.cfg (from the 1st partition) in the / grub folder of 50MB partition" Honestly, I don't know where to find that grub.cfg file. Also I have no way to access the first partition. I assigned it a letter, but windows won't allow me to access it anyway. I also tried to turn partition to logical partition with AOMEI partition assistant, but it doesn't mention any logical partition, I can only convert all disk to dynamic disk. But I don't think that's correct. Can anyone help me solve my problem? Thank you Best regards Simone
