Обновился 6.2.1 -> 6.2.3. Пропала /dev/dri, появилась флешка usbshare.
Пришлось применить synobootfix.sh чтобы спрятать флешку. Заменить extra/extra2.lzma v0.11 "наживую", чтобы вернуть /dev/dri. И synocodectool-patch, после обновления сработала.
Теперь вроде снова работает. Правда, на 6.2.1 эмби оооочень плохо транскодировал. На бОльшей части видео картинка сыпалась, либо просто переходил на кодирование на проце...
Пробовал как пакет ставить, так и в докере.
А вот Jellyfin работает нормально.
Надо ещё раз эмби испытать, после обновления драйверов.
У меня на 6.2.2 U6 Emby вообще не работает HW Транскодинг. Jellyfin, VideoStation - на ура. Никак не могу понять в чем дело

Я недавно сравнительно в этой теме, но никогда ничего другого в этой папке не наблюдал, только эти файлы.

Коллеги, как можно обновить Jellyfin в Docker? Новый образ если скачать, то все нужно переустанавливать и настраивать заново для нового контейнера? Настройки никак нельзя экспорт/импорт как я понял, только новый контейнер

synocodectool --activate_codec hevc_dec --pkgname videostationthan check again, manual activation of one codec activates them all normally. If just this one, do the same for every codec one by one

i tested with a G5400 aka coffee lake S, UHD 610 gpu Gen 9.5 and your i3 9100 is a coffee lake R with UHD 630 gpu gen 9.5
so there might be a difference (my own i3 9100 is still in its original package, but i will know soon if its working or not)
I have tried a fresh install with the same outcome, unfortunately. /dev/dri exist, codecs activated. HW Acc doesn't work. Would be really greatful if you managed to solve this.

Did you check actual work of the HW Transcoding? For example, to upload a movie to an iPhone? This option does not work in mine as well as playback of dowgraded video files. Although all the codecs up like in yours

Речь про 918+ На голом загрузчике 1.04b тоже все ставится и работает. Отсутствует только HW acceleration.

people just need to wait if someone finds out why the drivers fail, for now my working hypothesis is a kernel source change after 24992 that produced this incompatibility
and as we dont have the new source we cant compile new drivers to test
Just to back up, is it correct that for now it doesn't make any sense to try with the topic extras (driver extensions) as they won't work for DSM 6.2.3 anyway? For my case, abcense of HW acceleration is the only issue, the rest work just fine

С другой стороны он пишет в самом начале, что это не работает для 6.2.3.
