  5. Hi Marc / Mars, I was able to create and succesfully boot up a XPEnology 4.2 on my Hyper-V 2012 R2 server. I only got one question. How is the network performance on your vm(s)? Because my XPEnology shows Network Status 0, Half Duplex, MTU 1500. Which makes me think i'm only getting half of the network performance i should be able to get because i got a gigabit network. I tried adding a legacy network adapter to see if that would do any good, but i also get the same results on that network card. So Network Status 0, Half Duplex, MTU 1500. Also pushing files to the VM shows that it doesn't go any higher than 10MB/s where 100MB/s should be possible. Do you guys have any idea what could be the cause of this? Could it the older Integrations Services which are installed in the boot image?

  7. Did anybody already tried to install gnoboot on Hyper-V 2012 R2 ? Because when i start up gnoboot-alpha5 and or gnoboot-alpha6 the network adapter isn't recognized and because of that i'm unable to install DSM because de DS Assistant isn't detecting the vm... Tried normal network adapter and legacy network adapter but both doesn't matter because NIC isn't being recognized within gnoboot. Also changing the mac address doesn't matter.
