  2. Hello, Just woundering, if this topic can be made specific for the ESXI version of 4.3 Build 3810? That way we can keep track of the working or not working things in this build rater then, how do i update from Ver 2 to ver 3 or how to install DSM. Why dont peaple start a new tread and stay on topic? "NFS Bug" still not working and is almost one page behind It we could subscribe to a tread too that would be awesome, i check multiple times a day for update, a bit disappointed reading about passthrough in this tread. Thanks!
  3. Hi, If ur all ready on Ver2 You must remove files autoupd@te.info from the root folder (rm /autoupd@te.info* via SSH) and follow instructions again: Download DSM update 3, execute code below and finaly install update. sed 's/flashupdateDeb/flashupdateDeb1/' /autoupd@te.info > /autoupd@te.info1 mv /autoupd@te.info1 /autoupd@te.info
  4. Can you give more informations about this ? Yes.. When i run XPEnology_DS3612xs_3810-repack-trantor-v1.0 in ESXI 5.5, it loops (reboots with ParaVirtual) guessing a missing driver? When i tell it to use LSL Logic SAS as virtual SCSI, it boots, but under hard drive it shows disk temp at 0`C not -1 as we are used to, the real problem comes when the disk is used, if you tab back and forth between the disk info tabs, sometimes if you're lucky you can see disk temp suddenly jump from 0`C to maybe 66`C next refresh ( switching tabs) it says 0`C again, but after a random time ( 2 - 10 mins) DSM shutdown, Message says " disk drive overheating DSM shutting down" I think its becomes the incorrect temp has jumped over shutdown value in /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml or /usr/syno/etc/scemd.xml file Disk temp jumping up and down, should be -1 ?? Was that the kind of info you where thinking about?
  5. Works the same, my reason is i run a Ubuntu, Windows 7 and OSX at the same time, and they can reboot independently, instead of running in inside windows with Virtualbox, then i had to shutdown DSM for windows updates ect
  6. NFS works in XPEnology_DS3612xs_3810-repack-trantor-v1.0 in ESXI 5.5 Enabling NFS in XPEnology_DS3612xs_3810-repack-trantor-v1.0 The problem here is the missing ParaVirtual, under LSL logic SAS i get Disk overheating at random times, says 0`C not -1`C as the ESXI v1 version. Enabling NFS in Esxi V1 gives :
  7. I will look about this module. This is strange because on my ESXi 5.5 package manager work and I can install apps... Does the console show anything ? package Manager works now ... maybe there server was down?!?
  8. Sorry for my danish language in here, but when it detects overheating its shutsdown, with the new ESXI version , i cant get NFS to work, tryed with Para and LSL SAS, both just timeout when creating NFS share
  9. Now i get timeout Creating NFS share? My HDD temp reboot problem is gone though. netstat -tulpn | grep 2049 Gives me insmod: can't insert '/lib/modules/auth_rpcgss.ko': No such file or directory
  10. ^Tells me its shutting down cause disks is overheating, happens random about 5- 10 mins. suddenly disk temp jumps from 0 til 100 very quick then back to 0, using LSA SAS BusLogic , Esxi 5.5 and HP N54, Please give me a hint how to fix this if you can ?
  11. Shut down after 5 mins on ESXI 5.1 Disk overheating Using LSI Logic SAS Any ideas? i Tryed editing /usr/syno/etc.defaults/scemd.xml and /usr/syno/etc/scemd.xml but scemd seems to ignore it
