Hi, i have a major problem with the v6 of the DSM. And somehow i cant figure out the root password. There is only 1 user acount: admin (default) ive tryed: - root with admin password (nope) - set a new admin password, then try root with new admin password (nope) - root with daily generated PW (nope) (http://codepad.org/naljB5Ze)

How do i donwgrade? I dont know how to start any reinstallation at all. I've loaded version 5.2 to my USB boot drive but the system just boots to 6.0 anyway

Hi, I have updated my Home Nas to Version DSM 6.0.1-7393.... and now my Raid 5 is gone. The System tells me i have 4 Unused HDDs, and i have no volume. Is there a possibility to restore the completely untuched HDDs to my Raid5? Please help....

Hallo. ich habe einen Homeserver auf dem XPEnology von einem USB Bootstick läuft. Es sind 4 Festplatten in einem Raid 5. Die versionsnummer war 5.0 oder 5.1.. nicht mehr ganz sicher (Jetzt ist es: DSM 6.0.1-7393), denn folgendes ist passiert: Ein zweites Raidsytsem (Exakt die gleiche Hardware, mit version 4.3 installiert) hat gesponnen, und ich habe meinen USB stick testweise hineingesteckt um ein usb defekt auzuschließen. Eben jener, anderer Homeserver bootete mit meinem Xpenology usb stick gewohnt hoch und war wieder einsatzbereit. Das zweite system ist damit jetzt erstmal wieder egal, da es hier nur um mein System geht. Den usb stick wieder in mein System gesteckt, bootete meines ganz normal wie immer hoch. Ohne irgendeine Änderung. Am nächsten Tag starte ich meinen Homeserver und es kommt eine aufforderung vom Web Assistent, ein Update durchzuführen. Der bin ich gefolgt. Und jetzt kommt das was eigentlich mein Problem ist... Mein Raid mit etwa 8 TB Daten ist nun weg. Ich habe jetzt 4 "Unbenutzte" Festplatten im Raid, und "Kein Volumen". Möchte ich eines Erstellen, werde ich gewarnt das die Festplatten "erased" werden... Also bitte.. sagt mir das ich irgendwie das vermutlich völlig unberührte Raid5 irgendwie wieder herstellen kann...
