[Solved]Adding a SI3512, are Data in thread? in Archives Posted March 4, 2016 · Edited March 11, 2016 by Guest Hi folks, I am new to this forum, I have recently installed XPEnology which is working great BTW. I use Intel D2500 miniITX board with 2 SATA drives, each is configured as separate volume(so no RAID). Now to the point: If I add SI3512(It's SATA1, I know that it will not be as fast as it could) PCI controller to attach additional SATA drives, should I: 1. expect potential data loss 2. need to install drivers or do any actions so the XPEnology can use the controller Thanks in advance for replies.
