  2. hi, thanks for the reply. did you do this through the vsphere client?
  3. I am currently trying to setup a GA-H97N WiFi ITX system with ESXi 6 and Xpenology. I have successfully installed ESXi and got the Xpenology VM to boot but I am having issues seeing the hard drives. I have posted in a separate thread but will update you if I get a solution. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10704
  4. hi, I have installed ESXi 6 on an GA-H97M WIFI motherboard with Xeon 1231v3. I can boot my Xpenology VM, select setup/install option, but when I connect to the Synology Web assistant it says no hard disks found. I can see the hard disks in the Vsphere client (advanced settings>storage, so surely they should pass through to the VM? Maybe I am doing something stupid or need to do something to enable them but I am stuck. I have tried attaching various disks but none seem to be visible in Xpenology. I have create a test virtual disk of 30Gb and I can then install DSM successfully so I know my build is ok, its just the physical disks I cannot see. Any help would be appreciated please.
