Account password not working

Question

Installed DSM7.1 and has been running for a bout a month now.

I went to log in tonight but password failed.

I "reset" account password via ARC (arc.sh) i said it worked but again no love.

Where to from here? I am seeking help. I cant loose all the stuff on the drive and preferably not the ARR set ups either.
