About the Synology E10M20-T1

Hello I purchased the Synology E10M20-T1 in order to have M.2 and 10 gigabit ethernet at I have an ITX board with just one PCIe slot

 

But I have a strange problem that I do not know if it is related to the hardware configuration or the Xpentology bootloader

 

Lets explain My MB is a Asrock H370M-ITXac. When I cold boot the machine the E10M20-T1 card is not recognized but when I reboot the synology is recognized with no problem. As I use only the 10 gigbit card this is not a problem as I can reboot. But if I use the M.2 cards I will have problems as Synology will not see the cards and I will have to recreate the Cache after the reboot.

 

Can I setup the bootloader to do this reboot automatically before it loads synology?

 

Is there any idea on why this is happening and a possible solution???

Which DSM version and Synology model are you using?

As I said in the initial post I do not have a synology I use xpenology  on an ITX board the board is the asrock H370M-ITXac

 

with DSM 7.1-42661 Update 4 bare metal with tinycore redpill

I( finally found a solution to the problem

I contacted Asrock and they created me a custom BIOS and now the problem is resolved
