Changing NGFF Sata PCIE Adapter

Hello all,

 

So I recently setup my 1st box.  I used a pcie 3.0 ngff adapter card to mount 2 sata drives I had in raid 1.  No sata ports on the mboard.  Power/data runs through the pcie card.

 

Am now going to purchase a different branded pcie card to mount 4 x ngff satas. So I will have 2 volumes in raid 1.

 

If I continue to populate the exisitng setup/volume with data/apps etc, migrate the 2 existing drives to the new card and add in the extra 2 will I run into any issues with mounting the original volume on the new card in DSM?  

 

Will DSM see this as some sort of new device?  Having to deleting the volume and starting over?
