vicrod74 Posted June 29, 2023 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2023 (edited) Hi guys, I'm not sure if it's the hardware but the installation of Windows 10 as a VM took forever!! Finally after installing the VM I installed Synology_VMM_Guest_Tool_1.5.3-0015 and the performance is so slow. Is this a QEMU terminal thing? Because my experience with ESXi is that close to baremetal performance when using any Virtual Machine. Just for reference I have the following specs: CPU: INTEL Xeon D-1531 (6 Cores) 3.1 Ghz 32 GB Memory 9 TB Storage on Raid 5 Just to add: I had ESXi on this same machine a while back and all the VMs were flawless.
