"Trying to terminate EFI services" - cannot instal XPenology

Bare metal install: mobo MSI Z97 Gaming 3, Intel i5-4640, 16 GB DDR3, SSD 250 GB ready for OS, 500 GB NVMe for cache, 6x SSD (not connected during installation) for data; not dedicated GPU, no external hardware; the setup is working - tested with TrueNAS, Window 10.

 

Booted (UEFI) from Cruzer Switch 8 GB pendrive to TCRP; the latest version from repo (25th of Dec 2022), built image for DS920+/DS3622xs+(the latest version from json) with the same result for both - stuck on "Trying to terminate EFI services". FastBoot in BIOS is disabled. Do you think it's possible to install any DSM 7.x on that machine?
