I have one IBM M5110 (SAS2308) array card. The IT mode firmware has been flashed so actually it is a HBA card now. And I plug several SAS HDDs in it.
Now with the help of pocopico-mpt3sas driver, DS918-7.0.1-42218 can be installed normally.
But I can't create a storage pool because the DSM cannot get the SMART info.
Upgrading to 7.1 or adding support_disk_compatibility: no under synoinfo in user_config.json doesn't work.
RDM also doesn't offer any help. I tried virtual SCSI controller and virtual SATA controller, but this problem still exists.
And when I use the "smartctl" command in SSH Terminal, all SMART info can be got and shown normally.
So I think the problem is on Synology management package (like Storage Manager). How can I deal with it?
By the way, The reason why I insist on ds918p is that I need integrated graphics working for video decoding. So Do other models like ds3615xs have some patches to let integrated graphics be available for video station or third party software(jellfin, emby and so on).
