Messenger Posted June 15, 2014 #1 Posted June 15, 2014 Hello all, I´ve installed latest DSM and Nanoboot native on a HP54L. Question: can i simple edit menu_nano.lst kernel /zImage ihd_num=0 netif_num=4 syno_hw_version=DS3612xs sn=xxxxxxxxx vid=0x0EA0 pid=0x2168 loglevel=0 vga=0x305 with my usb stick vid and pid to hide the stick in the dsm? I don´t found syslinux.cfg in the native img file.
berwhale Posted June 15, 2014 #2 Posted June 15, 2014 syslinux.cfg should be in the \boot\syslinux directory on your USB memory stick. On Windows, you can use USBDEView to find out the VID and PID of your memory stick: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
berwhale Posted July 11, 2014 #3 Posted July 11, 2014 I found this out today, so I thought I'd make a note of it here: You can use the following command whilst logged into the DSM shell as root... cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
