gjanssen Posted February 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2014 Hi, I installed XPEnology DSM 4.2-3211 on my SS4200 hardware. All was working fine when one fan broke, this caused one hard disk to crash. I can't access this disk anymore on my synology. When I try Smart quick test (it tells me all is fine) and i'm doing now a long test to see what the result is. Is there any way to access the information on this disk? It was with another disk configured as JBOD. Is there any possebility to access this disk(s) on my windows 8.1 machine? OR do i have to have a Ubuntu machine? What tools do i use to do this?
