Hi folks,
I've upgraded my Terramaster F4-220 (J1800 Dual-Core Soc, 4GB Ram) from DSM 6.2 to 7.1 last weekend, which worked out so far.
Unfortunately the system gets incredible slow as soon as you start a simple task. For example I just activated one camera in surveillance station and the whole system is unreachable since 10 minutes. I recognized this behavior right after installation. I thought the system needs some time to index the files so I gave the nas a day to work. The tasks seemed to be completed because the CPU load was only a few percent this morning. But the behavior with activating one camera tells me that something isn't right with the DSM. Under DSM 6 I had 3 cameras, jdownloader and a docker virtual machine running without any issues.

Hallo zusammen,

Yesterday I set up an older HP 800 G2 system (i5-6500, 8GB Ram, 280w 80+ platinum PSU) as an replacement for my previous terramaster F4-220 system. I decided to go with the dva3221 modell using the latest ARPL and Firmware.
Everything works fine so far but heat and power consumption got my attention. As far as I can see the CPU is even at 1% load running at turbo frequency.
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq 3578198 3491074 3471251 3453339
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor performance
Any idea how this can be changed?
