Thanks for the information. So, the USB has to be plugged in, in order to boot Xpenology. Very interesting....

Hi, I am new to Xpenology and wondering where the OS is installed on? Is it installed on USB? or installed on one of the HDD? Currently using DS3716XS image with DSM6.2-23739 Thanks in advance!
