this drives are recommended on qnap but my project did not push thru since 4x6tb will only appear 12tb or less due to old qnap hardware limitation
btw i tried just now a mock up trial 4x WD20EFRX as shr1 it could it 60-100 without problem

would it be possible to be bad even smart info`s statuses are ok, btw drives power on hours are very low 189-265 no records of error or ultra crc are found on all drives

1.what can i check why it slows down after 1%
2. all drives are almost new and no files

thats a very sad news im reading the link you provided, would there be a list here of drives that are not smr?
